Elaine Liu spent nearly two decades in supply chain management at Cisco before turning her attention to a problem closer to home: the billions of single-use plastics that end up in landfills every year. As a mother living between China and Canada, she saw firsthand how much everyday habits shape the world her children will inherit and felt compelled to do something about it. That conviction drove her to found Infinity9 Cycle, bringing biodegradable, PLA-based alternatives to the single-use products most people reach for without thinking twice.
She is deliberate about starting small: Infinity9 Cycle's first Canadian products are a reusable coffee mug and a compostable cling wrap, because she knows lasting change begins in the places people live and cook and gather.
